Things To Do
Our region, where the majestic Sierra Madre Mountains meet the sparkling Bay of Banderas, features various eco zones replete with incredible plant and animal life. Nearby botanical gardens are filled with wild tropical flowers and brilliantly colored birds and lizards. In these gardens, endangered species such as the Military Macaw and other types of parrots are being revived and rescued.
More adventurous excursions include off-road caravan riding to the breathtaking terrain of the Sierra Madre Mountains, the El Cora crocodile sanctuary and hikes through the jungle with vistas of thundering waterfalls and private swimming holes.
